Volume 1 focused on events in the life of Jesus, Volume 2 focused on Special Events in the Old Testament. This volume (III) takes a slightly different turn. I decided to focus on mostly obscure Women in both the Old and New Testament who had an impact on the Christian Faith. The 14 chapters focus on 7 Old Testament figures and 7 New Testament figures. While some like Sarah and Hagar may be familiar. I think very few readers are familiar with women like Shiprah and Puah, who were Midwives for the Pharoah, and played a major role in the establishment of Israel! Or Vashti, the Queen who decided not to show up for her husband like a sex object (and was late replaced by Esther.).
